Today was a slow day on the activities front but we had to finalise all the details for Tuesday. Details such as the menu, pricing and suppliers. There's a certain calm about this upcoming Cake Sale that wasn't there during the final days leading to the first one. I think it's because we now have a bit of experience and have a more realistic strategy that has no reason to fail, or at least not fail as badly as the last time. We have to succeed this time, there's no redemption if we don't. Nothing to fall back on. But we have a belief that also wasn't quite there 3 weeks ago, last time it was more hope than belief but that belief will materialise. It has to.
Now to enjoy the weekend, it's the most free we'll be on a weekend for quite a while.
